About Us

The Digital Library of Dolphin Development is an ongoing project coordinated and spearheaded by the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, but involving several other institutions. The DLDD project was initiated in 2002, and the first webpages became available in the fall of 2003. Eventually, the Library will contain a complete developmental series of dolphin embryos, and the data files will all be hosted by OhioLink, the cooperative unit that combines academic libraries in Ohio.
