Q: Can I spell check my email so that I can make additional edits prior to sending it out?

A: An alternative way to spell check your email so that you can return to the email to make additional edits is to use the button at the top of the window.

Once you hit ‘Done’ on the spell check window, it brings you back to the message screen. This allows you to make additional edits prior to sending it out.

Q:  At home I use America On-Line as my internet provider and I cannot access my e-mail, I keep getting an error message stating that my "session has timed out, please log in again", why is this happening?

A: This is an incompatability issue that is encountered with the AOL browser, after signing on to AOL, minimize the AOL browser and open up Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to access DOCS.

Q: How do I print my email in D.O.C.S.?

A: There is no print option within NEOUCOM D.O.C.S. email, this is a defect that has been reported to SCT and they have confirmed it. A user can print an email while using the Internet Explorer browser by right clicking on the email body and selecting 'Print' from the pop-up menu. If using the Netscape Navigator browser ensure that the e-mail window is the focus window by clicking once on the email window and then press CTRL-P to print the email.

In IE, when you open an email attachment, it sometimes opens in a separate IE window or in Messenger Express itself. If it opens in the Messenger express, you won't be able to print the document using the 'normal' right-click and 'Print' option. You will have to use Ctrl-P to print.

Q: What is my storage quota for email in NEOUCOM D.O.C.S.?

A: If you’re a faculty or staff member you will be allotted 300 Megabytes of storage. If you are a current student you will be allotted 100 Megabytes and alumni of NEOUCOM will be allotted 50 Megabytes of storage. These quotas will be enforced in the future. If you are currently over quota you will need to pay immediate attention to cleaning out your email.

NOTE: If you pop your e-mail to another client on your desktop this limitation will be determined by the space available on your individual computer but messages saved and archived within NEOUCOM D.O.C.S. e-mail client will abide by the above quotas.
