Internal Medicine Interest Group

The Internal Medicine Interest Group is sponsored by the American College of Physicians (ACP).  The ongoing goal is to educate medical students about internal medicine as a medical specialty as well as the challenge and flexibility offered by a career choice in internal medicine.

Membership in the ACP is free of charge to the medical student and affords many benefits such as:

1)  free access to the full-text electronic version of Annals of Internal
     Medicine

2)  subscription to IMpact, a monthly, on-line newsletter for medical
     students

3)  medical student mentoring program

4)  free attendance at scientific meetings

5)  accidental death and dismembership insurance.
