Faculty in the Department offer coursework and research training opportunities for graduate students in a multidisciplinary, highly collaborative environment. There are opportunities to work with faculty studying biomechanics and evolutionary biology related to feeding, mammalian evolution and development, connective tissue biology, cellular and molecular biology of bone and cartilage, and the biology of gonadal steroids, neurochemistry, neurodegeneration, and memory. Many graduate students associated with the Department are enrolled at Kent State University's School of Biomedical Sciences. They pursue studies in program areas such as Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Biology, or Biological Anthropology. For more information visit the School of Biomedical Sciences or contact the Office of Graduate Education at NEOUCOM. |
