Graduate students in the department participate in many activities related to teaching and research.

Teaching opportunities and coursework available through the Department

Human Development and Structure
A course for health science professionals and graduate students.

Integrated Skeletal Biology
A graduate level course

Evolution of Complex Characters
NEOUCOM, Biomedical Sciences, – BMS 78695/ANTH 68095

Mammalian Diversity and Evolution
The goal of this graduate course is to give the student a basic understanding of the diversity and evolution of mammals.  The focus of this course is practical knowledge and experience.  The laboratory sessions center on learning mammalian anatomy and morphology (mostly teeth and bones).

Comparative Mammalian Anatomy
The goal of this graduate course is to give the student a basic understanding of anatomical diversity in extant mammals.  The focus of this course is practical Knowledge and experience.
