The NEOUCOM Psychiatry Residency Program is based primarily in the Akron associated hospitals of Akron General Medical Center and Summa Health System (Akron City Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital). Curriculum activities also take place at agencies of the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board, including Child Guidance Centers, Community Support Services, Portage Path Psychiatric Emergency Services, Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic, and the Summit County Jail.
