An applicant must have a complete file before being considered.  A complete file contains:

  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Minimum USMLE Step 1 and 2 scores of 200 (or 2-digit equivalent score)
  • Academic Transcript

All applicants must be from accredited medical schools and must have graduated within three years prior to start date.

In addition to fulfilling the criteria listed above, international graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate/J-1 Visa.

Our program participates in the American Urological Association (AUA) Residency Matching Program for Urology.  All those interested in applying to our program should register with this matching program.  If you match with our program, you must go through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) to secure a pre-urology position in general surgery.  The residency coordinator will assist you in this process.
