Mission

The Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy improves the quality of health care in northeast Ohio through:

• interprofessional health education of medical, pharmacy and health sciences students oriented to practice at the community level, with an emphasis on primary care;
• assistance to the residency programs in the associated teaching hospitals;
• continuing education of physicians, pharmacists and other health professionals;
• the participation of faculty and students in the development of new knowledge through research and regional partnering in the education of graduate students in the biomedical, community health, behavioral sciences and health sciences; and
• the provision of community service programs and health education throughout the northeast Ohio region.
