     HOSA is a student organization whose mission is to promote

     career opportunities in health care.

4)  S.T.A.T. - Start Teaching Adolescents Today

     Working with NEO Health Force in Mahoning County, the STAT

     program is designed to provide monthly presentations to young

     students on health promotion to career exposure in health care.

5)  Pre-Nursing Club - Akron City Schools Fourth and Fifth graders

     are already planning their careers in health care with

     memberships in the Pre-Nursing Club for minority-disadvantaged

     students coordinated by Summit-Portage AHEC.

     education and business partners to expose and prepare Akron

     area students in health care.
