Recycle Bin

On the PC desktop is an icon for the Recycle Bin. Typically, every file that you delete will be placed in the Recycle Bin and you will have to periodically empty it to permanently delete a file from your machine. The Recycle Bin has other settings also which you might want to consider to keep your computer clean.

• You can have items deleted immediately and bi-pass the Recycle Bin
• You can set the size of the Recycle Bin. This will keep it from growing out of control

To change the settings of your Recycle Bin, right-click on its icon on your desktop and you will see the options below:

IMPORTANT: Remember to empty the Recycle Bin periodically.
