Role of the EC

The Institutional Effectiveness Council will serve in an advisory capacity to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and will assist in developing comprehensive plans to simplify the process of collecting and reporting assessment data and reduce the level of bureaucracy associated with such efforts. It will also make institutional effectiveness activities more meaningful to the College community by:

  • Assisting to develop communications and marketing activities;
  • Establish a campus culture committed to the continuous improvement of its programs and services;
  • Recommend appropriate resources, internal and external to the office, to assure the office accomplishes its goals including the Balanced Scorecard process, institutional department and program reviews and external reporting including accreditation;
  • Assure that institutional assessment strategies including student learning outcomes are coordinated.
