At the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy, education means more than book knowledge. Students are trained in a variety of settings, including major teaching hospitals, community hospitals, community pharmacies, health departments and clinics, to expose them to the needs of the communities that they will serve. All of our graduates, regardless of specialty, have a solid background in community and public health. They understand that the health of their patients is directly related to the health of their communities.

The Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy partner with seven major teaching hospitals, four state universities, additional affiliated hospitals and community pharmacies and two public health departments. Unlimited opportunities for professional and personal growth exist within this collaborative environment. Faculty collaborate with researchers from the partner institutions to conduct groundbreaking research. Through our combined efforts, we have significantly improved the health, well-being and economic vitality of Ohio's citizens.
