The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs works with other college departments to provide unique programs and activities designed to encourage and motivate young students interested in the sciences and the health professions through visits to NEOUCOM and area medical centers, personal contact with researchers, physicians, medical students, and other students from underrepresented groups in medicine, including The STEM and Medical Careers Academy, MEDCAMP, the Healthcare In Progress (HIP) Program, and the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP).  Additionally, the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs has established working relationships with area physicians and community leaders who provide mentoring and encouragement to our students.
