From the North taking I-80 (Ohio Turnpike):

Take the Ohio Turnpike to Exit/Milepost 193. Follow State Route 44 South toward Ravenna. Turn left on State Route 14, then right on the Route 5 West/State Route 44 South Bypass (after the 5-way stop light). Stay on State Route 44 South into Rootstown. NEOUCOM is on the right, 1/2 mile past the I-76 interchange.

From the South Taking I-77:
Take I-77 North into Akron. Follow I-76 East. Exit at 38A. Turn right off the exit onto State Route 44 South. NEOUCOM is on the right 1/2 of a mile south.


From the West taking I-76 (State Route 8 or I-71):
Take State Route 8 or I-71 North to I-76 East. Follow I-76 East through Akron. Exit at 38A. Turn right off the exit onto State Route 44 South. NEOUCOM is on the right 1/2 of a mile south.

From the North Taking I-480:

Take I-480 East to State Route 14 (through Streetsboro) and follow to Ravenna. From State Route 14, turn right on the Route 5 West/State Route 44 South Bypass (after the 5-way stop light). Stay on State Route 44 South into Rootstown. NEOUCOM is on the right, 1/2 mile past the I-76 interchange.

From the East Taking I-76:
Take I-76 West. Exit at 38 Ravenna. Turn left off the exit onto State Route 44 South. NEOUCOM is on the right 1/2 of a mile south.

Located in rural northeastern Ohio, Rootstown is just 20 minutes from Akron and 50 minutes from Cleveland. NEOUCOM's Rootstown campus is the ideal setting in which to handle the rigors of medical school. Our beautiful 55-acre complex, centrally located among the consortium universities and clinical campuses, houses the College's administrative offices and the divisions of basic medical sciences and community health sciences.

State-of-the-art facilities range from the Center for Studies of Clinical Performance to the Amphitheater of Hippocrates to the Oliver Ocasek Regional Medical Information Center, which houses more than 110,000 books and more than 725 current journals.

All freshman (M1) medical students are provided with a study carrel. For relaxation, students can enjoy the workout room, student lounge and basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.
