Video taping of departmental inservices, meetings and classroom lectures can be scheduled one week in advance. Departments requesting video productions for student education or staff training that requires extensive concept development, scriptwriting and editing, must schedule a pre-production meeting with the Director of Academic Technology Services.

During the pre-production meeting the concept of the production will be discussed regarding target audience, goals and objectives. A tentative time line for the project will be determined. This includes additional pre-production/script development meetings, talent, shooting schedule, graphics and editing. The requesting department will designate a production/contact person who will assist Academic Technology Services staff during the project. Depending on the complexity of the production, a date will be given for the completion of the project, generally two months is required after the script has been finalized.
