APPOINTMENT
Clinical faculty are appointed to the nontenure track in one of two tracks. Track 1 faculty are expected to contribute to the teaching, research or service programs of NEOUCOM. Track 2 faculty contribute primarily to the teaching programs. Clinical faculty can initiate an application for appointment at any time, but final approval occurs on a quarterly basis.

REAPPOINTMENT
Clinical faculty are reviewed at least once in a three-year period using a departmentally staggered review cycle. The Department Chair requests and reviews an activity report from the faculty member concerning NEOUCOM related activities using the initial appointment and promotion criteria as a guideline. Clinical faculty may be reassigned to a different track if his/her activities are more appropriate to another track.
