INSTITUTIONAL FACULTY BYLAWS
Faculty Bylaws are the rules and regulations which govern the faculty and include its approved procedural appendices. They are an integral component of faculty governance, providing a uniform mechanism for the development and implementation of academic policy and delineating faculty rights and responsibilities.
Faculty Bylaws enable faculty to participate in faculty governance through consultation, advice and/or recommendation, shared responsibility and delegated authority. The provisions of the approved Bylaws or prevailing law will take precedence over any policy or procedure which may be in substantive or procedural conflict.
