DESCRIPTION:  Two types of coverage are available – Un-reimbursed Medical and Dependent Child Care.  An employee sets aside pre-taxed dollars to be reimbursed for these types of expenses.  This creates a tax savings and reduces the employee’s taxable income.  All employees must complete a Flexible Benefits Enrollment Form (PDF).  

Maximum Contributions:

Health Care Account:  $3,500

Dependent Care Account:  $2,500 or $5,000 if married, filing jointly, on tax return.

COST:  Paid entirely by employee.
