What is Faculty Development?

NEOUCOM Definition:  Faculty development refers to educationally sound activities and resources designed for faculty at all career stages to develop their knowledge and skills as teachers, researchers, administrators and caregivers. It is essential for sustaining the academic vitality of individuals, advancing the educational mission of NEOUCOM, and developing a shared understanding of what it means and what it takes to achieve academic excellence.
