The curriculum includes 10, one-day sessions of multiple topics, presented as interactive workshops by outside speakers and local faculty.

Activities and assignments allow the practical application of learning to day-to-day roles. Topics include but are not limited to: educational philosophies, learning theories and styles, 1-on-1 teaching, small group teaching, curriculum development, large group presentations, education technology, teaching a procedure, personal management, assessment, feedback and documentation, legalities of assessment, critical pedagogy, working with challenging learners, teaching other teachers, culturally sensitive teaching, the Millenium Learner, teaching research and scholarship, and program evaluation.

Fellows will develop a scholarly project related to current academic responsibilities or needs of their programs or departments. Projects will be formally presented during the last fellowship session with feedback on content and presentation skills.
