I Currently Don't Have Internet Connectivity, How Do I Get Started?

When you sign up for the NEOUCOM program, Time Warner will no longer bill you directly for your Road Runner High Speed Online service. If you have cable TV with Time Warner Cable, you will continue to be billed by Time Warner Cable for only those services. Your Road Runner High Speed Online service will be paid through payroll deduction at the discounted price.

Are There Any Restrictions On Use?

Your Internet Connectivity agreement through NEOUCOM provides you discounted pricing for Road Runner High Speed Online service. There are no restrictions. You are not limited to educational use only.

Who Do I Contact To Disconnect My Road Runner High Speed Online Service?

If you wish to terminate your Road Runner High Speed Online service, notify Desktop Support at 330-325-6911 or help@neoucom.edu.

Sign up in Desktop Support (C-174). Forms will be available, or complete the Internet Connectivity Sign Up Form and sign the appropriate Customer Agreement ahead of time and bring them with you (Sign Up Forms). You will be given the appropriate equipment at this time.

Are Students Eligible for Internet Connectivity Discounts?

Yes. Students may sign up for Road Runner High Speed Online.

How Will Students Be Billed For Internet Connectivity Fees?

The discounted Road Runner High Speed Online fee will be assessed to your student account at the beginning of each term for the entire term (i.e. Fall Term at $39/month would be charged a total of $156 for Sept - Dec). Per term fees will be assessed as follows:

Can Students Sign Up Now, Even Though It's Not The Start Of A Term?

Yes, you may sign up now. Charges will be prorated for the remainder of the Fall Term and you will receive a student billing.

How Will I Know If The Road Runner High Speed Online Service Price Changes?

As the number of participants increase, our agreement with Time Warner Cable allows us to pass lower prices on to you. When the number of participants exceeds the next price level, causing the price to drop; students billing for next term will reflect the lower price and employees next payroll deduction will reflect the lower price. Monthly price levels are as follows:

When Does Employee Payroll Deduction Begin?

The monthly Internet Connectivity (Road Runner High Speed Online) fee will be deducted from your pay once per month. Upon sign up, your first payroll deduction will include the fee for the first full month of service (i.e. $39 for November), and a partial fee for the remainder of the current month (i.e. $8.80 for October 25 th - 31 st .) Billing will begin once your Road Runner High Speed Online service has been activated by Time Warner Cable. Due to payroll schedules, fees that miss the cutoff for the current payroll will be assessed in the following payroll.

Can NEOUCOM Consortium Members Participate?

NEOUCOM consortium hospitals and educational institutions can sign up for the same Internet Connectivity discounts. You may participate in the NEOUCOM discounts by selecting from two payment choices:

Automatic Monthly Checking Account Payment
The monthly Internet Connectivity (Road Runner High Speed Online) fee will be deducted from your checking account once per month. Upon sign up, your first payment must be made with a check written from the checking account that will be assessed for the on-going payments. The check should be made payable for one month of Road Runner ($39.00). The first automatic payment will include a partial fee for the remainder of the current month, along with the fee for the next full month of service (i.e. Check payment received on November 25th for $39.00 for December service, then the first automatic payment made on December 27th would include the partial amount of $8.80 for November 25th - 30th and $39.00 for January). Automatic payments will be deducted from your checking account on the 25th of each month, or on the first working day after the 25th of the month. Billing will begin once your Internet Connectivity service has been activated by Time Warner Cable.

Pay in Advance for Six Months or One Year
Upon sign up, your first payment will be for your choice of six months or one year of Internet Connectivity services. You will receive an invoice 45 days prior to your renewal date to continue your service. Payment may be made by cash or check. Billing will begin once your Internet Connectivity service has been activated by Time Warner Cable.

Who Is Eligible At Consortium Institutions?

Anyone associated with NEOUCOM, the teaching hospitals, or the consortium universities is eligible for the Internet Connectivity discounts. This includes all employees of these institutions, not just physicians, library staff, and residents.
