Ms. Bezuidenhout joined the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in September, 2006. She earned her B.Pharm and M.Sc. degrees from the North West University in South Africa and is currently enrolled for her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry at the same University. Her research field focuses on neurodegeneration and syntheses of novel multimechanistic drugs for the treatment or prevention of neurodegenerative diseases.
