Louis Barone is the Vice Chair of Pharmacy Practice for Experiential Programs and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Pharmacy. His responsibilities are to identify and monitor practice sites for shared faculty in the department, and work with the Coordinator of Pharmacy Experiential Education to identify clinical clerkship rotation sites for pharmacy students and address concerns related to patient care, practice management and clerkship rotations. The Vice Chair of Experiential Programs is the front line resource for Department of Pharmacy Practice faculty in all aspects of experiential education, practice management, and patient care. Dr. Barone's expertise is in pharmacy practice management, medication safety and application of informatics and automation in medication use systems. He is active in local, state and national pharmacy organizations.
