Citing/Attributing Material


Attribution means providing proper citation for material used.  It provides information that will point others to the original sources used.  The citation style recommended by the National Library of Medicine is the Vancouver System. However, for clarity, the library recommends using the following modified citations listed below. 

● For the citations below complete the highlighted information

● Smaller font sizes for slide citations may be used
● The copyright symbol can be added in PowerPoint with the insert tab with the symbol key  

 

The library advises that the following material in highlights be included in the slides and notes.
