D.O.C.S.: AnnouncementsIn D.O.C.S, campus announcements and personal announcements will expire within a couple of weeks, but if you have a lot of them and want to delete them, you can do it manually. All you have to do is click on the announcement. On the right-hand side of the announcement title, you will see a small trash can and Delete. Just click on Delete.
D.O.C.S. : EmailNote: This only applies to those who use D.O.C.S. to send and receive email Emptying the Trash Manually Note: The trash can be set to empty each time you exit the email program by opening the Options link from within email, but if you notice that your trash folder is not being cleaned out, it may be because you are exiting the DOCS/Iplanet Messenger Express window by closing the browser window. It will not empty your Trash, because the server does not know that you logged out. Instead, exit the DOCS/Iplanet Messenger Express application by

D.O.C.S.: CalendarDeleting One-Time Events If you want to delete one time events on your calendar they must be deleted one by one. This is done by opening the event and clicking on the Delete button at the bottom of the window. Deleting Recurring Events The only difference with deleting recurring events is that when you click on the Delete key you will see the following window:
If you want to only delete a singe occurrence, click on This One Only. If you want to completely remove the event, click on This and Future Ones. |
