Recycle Bin

On the desktop of a PC is an icon for the Recycle Bin. Typically, every file that you delete will be placed in the Recycle Bin and you will have to periodically empty it to permanently delete a file from your machine. The Recycle Bin has other settings also which you might want to consider to keep your computer clean.

• You can have items deleted immediately and bi-pass the Recycle Bin
• You can set the size of the Recycle Bin. This will keep it from growing out of control

To change the settings of your Recycle Bin, right-click on its icon on your desktop and you will see something like the options below:
