Janice Spalding, MD Dr. Spalding is a northeast Ohio native and a 1987 graduate of NEOUCOM. She completed her Family Practice Residence at Akron General Medical Center, serving as chief resident her third year. Dr. Spalding served as an assistant director at Barberton (Ohio) Citizens Hospital Family Practice Residency and has been in private practice in South Carolina and Wisconsin. Her special interests in family medicine include obstetrics, women's health, and adolescent care. As Associate Director at St. Elizabeth's, Dr. Spalding is responsible for the medical student clerkship, and is particularly involved with the areas of the curriculum pertaining to her interests. She and her husband Rob have two children and enjoy many outdoor activities such as biking, camping, canoeing, and cross-country skiing.
