Musicians in Medicine

 

The goal of Musicians in Medicine is to create a group where musicians can come together and use their talents to provide music for various venues. Also our desire is to support the community through fundraisers and outreach. We also want to get involved with music therapists and others that collaborate with healthcare professionals so that we may better integrate as well as be open to altrenative theories of treatment.

Planned Activities:

Holiday Concert: Volunteers from this group as well as others will prepare a program to raise money for a local charity.

Outreach to Boys and Girls Club: Work with kids educating them about music.

Speaker for Lunch: work with music therapist as well as physician to come for speaking engagement.

Special Concert: In Spring, another fundraiser!
